Fabric powers healthcare to move faster, work smarter, and deliver better care.
We want to help fix healthcare, not disrupt it.
We believe local care is the heart of healthcare, and we’re dedicated to making sure patients can get the right care at the right time. Fabric builds technology that unifies virtual and in-person care across intake, triage, routing, and treatment—allowing clinicians to prioritize patient care over admin tasks and creating better experiences for patients and providers alike.
Backed by leading institutional investors
Journey to Fabric
Fabric's deep roots in healthcare technology go all the way back to 2009. Built by a team of physicians, technologists, and patients, Fabric unifies virtual and in-person care across intake, triage, routing, and treatment while automating workflows for staff.
Zipnosis is founded
Zipnosis was founded in 2009 to make healthcare more efficient and accessible with a virtual care solution that leveraged asynchronous telemedicine to connect patients with local board-certified physicians—anytime, anywhere. By automating 99% of admin work, Zipnosis enabled physicians to treat patients with low acuity conditions in just 89 seconds.
GYANT is founded
GYANT formed in 2016 to empower patients and accelerate access to care with patient engagement tools and conversational AI that guide patients from the Digital Front Door® through their entire clinical journey. GYANT enabled a higher level of efficiency that improved patient health outcomes while reducing administrative burden for clinical staff.
Florence is founded
Florence was founded in 2021 to drive efficiency within physical points of care through virtual first solutions. Florence increased clinical capacity within emergency departments by reducing administrative work and automating clinical workflows––reducing total length of stay and patients that leave without being seen.
Florence acquires Zipnosis
Because tackling healthcare’s greatest challenges, particularly clinical capacity, requires a multifaceted approach, Florence acquired Zipnosis in 2023. By expanding our capabilities beyond hospital walls, we grew into a versatile healthcare technology company that unified virtual and in-person care across intake, triage, routing, and treatment.
Florence becomes Fabric, acquires GYANT, MeMD
By 2024, Florence had expanded beyond its initial vision, prompting the need for a new unified brand identity. Fabric reflects our commitment to create a comprehensive care experience for patients and providers. Fabric also acquired GYANT to expand its conversational AI capabilities, and MeMD to expand its 50-state clinical network.
A commitment to continuous growth
Fabric embodies our team’s dedication to solving healthcare’s biggest challenges and powering healthcare to move faster, work smarter, and deliver better care. Every solution we develop is carefully crafted to streamline the care delivery process, creating valuable time for providers and better access for patients who need it.
Care for everyone, everywhere.
Vision
We power boundless care through seamless, intuitive experiences.
Mission
Guided by our values
Seek the talent around you.
Our company is full of brilliant, thoughtful minds—we take advantage of it by working together.
Listen deeply to solve big challenges.
Challenges are always better solved when we have a deep understanding of the lived experiences of clinicians and patients.
Build it like you would for loved ones.
We think like consumers of healthcare ourselves and build experiences that we’d be proud for anyone we know and love to use.
Be bold. Be vulnerable.
We create judgment-free spaces where big ideas and authenticity aren’t just accepted, they’re encouraged.
Move quickly for good reason.
For the sake of all clinicians and patients we can help, move with speed and decisiveness when it counts.
Celebrate the wins, no matter how small.
It’s an enormous problem we’re tackling, so we celebrate every little win along the way.
